The first edition of Challenge Humanitech took place in 2009 under the high patronage of Mrs Valérie Pécresse, French Minister of  Higher Education and Research.

 

Overall, almost 120 students from 25 French schools  and universities, have participated in this contest.

 

 

During the Working Day organized at La Cantine (the High Tech Space of Île-de-France), the candidates had the opportunity to present their invention to professionals of humanitarian affairs and innovation.

 

Two months later, during the Final, the teams defended their projects in front of a jury presided by Nicole Guedj, former French minister and president of the Red Helmets Foundation and Valérie Pecrésse.

 

 

Many professionals have accepted to be part of the jury, among which:
